How does the wagon ride drama theatre work?
- It’s not your typical stage play since viewers are riding a wagon through the forest and stopping at different stations where the acting is going on. Some have described it like a Disneyland-type ride where there’s different stops and locations for a show.
- The skits are performed outside in sometimes hot and cold autumn, Minnesota weather.
- The skit is meant to be realistic, yet family-friendly, as the Fall Festival is a family event.
- The actors and actresses act as they would in any other play, with realism and believability. For this show, we are crafting a script (that likely runs about ~20 minutes total) that is light, easy-to-rehearse, and easy-to-repeat, that focuses on Viking myths and legends. Think Beowulf.
