ASPARAGUS
Summer has come if asparagus has sprung! Asparagus is always the first crop of the year. Keep an eye out for updates!
STRAWBERRIES
Strawberries have been one of the core crops at the farm for decades! Strawberries typically begin to be ready in late June, and go till mid-July. Keep an eye out for U-pick dates, as well as where you can find fresh, ready-picked berries!
TOMATOES
At Carters’ Farm, we focus on raising a variety of tomatoes of multiple flavors, colors, and sizes. All of our tomatoes are hand-picked. Find our tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, kale, and peppers at the Park Rapids, Detroit Lakes, and Walker Farmers’ Markets! Our focus on tomatoes goes back to 1955, when Russell Carter planted the first Carters’ Tomatoes and sold produce via roadside stand.

For the fall, we grow ornamental corn, pumpkins, gourds, and squash.
