Support a Small Family Farm
Small family farms like Carters’ are becoming more and more difficult to find. Consider donating today to help us support a way of life that supports family, community, and land.
Donations go to a fund for use in repairing farm infrastructure, including buildings and equipment. In the near future, we hope to have Carters’ Farm be a place to learn about agriculture by hosting conferences and fellowships, as well as a venue for music concerts, plays, and other artistic entertainment. Please consider helping us in this endeavor.
In September of 2022, our dairy barn, milk house, and a loafing shed all burned down in a tragic accident. We hope to one day build a new barn near or on top of the area where the old barn once stood. The dairy barn was built by the Carter brothers and their father Russell in the 1970s and had been recently used as a place to store straw, hay, storage, and other supplies.
